If you’re looking for a solid all-rounder with a reasonable price, the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless Gaming Headset will be worth looking into. It is sturdy and well-built, provides a comfortable fit for long periods, and delivers fantastic sound that will help you stay alert and pick off stragglers (in your video game).

Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless Gaming Headset is a quite decent white gaming headset. There are several color variants for this model with the white variant consisting of a combination of a white-silver color scheme. There is the Corsair logo on either side of the ear cups and the logo is illuminated using RGB lighting. (Which can be customized using the Corsair iCUE desktop application.)
The build quality of this headset is very good. There are several metal parts for reinforcement but most of the device is built from high-quality plastic. The outside of the earcups has a premium-looking finish and there is faux leather padding for the adjustable headband and ear cup.
The controls are easy to manage and provide access for volume control, skipping tracks, and answering calls. Along with the power on/off button, there is an infinitely scrollable volume wheel for changing the volume. (There are also two extra buttons that do the same thing.)
There is a multifunction button that allows you to play, pause, answer calls and even skip tracks. And, last but not least, there’s a toggle to switch between wired USB mode and wireless Bluetooth.
Since these are gaming headsets, they won’t have much in the way of portability. The headset is quite large as it is 8″ long, 7.8″ wide, and 1.9″ tall. The earcups can swivel and lay flat but they cannot fold inside like many casual-style Bluetooth headphones.
The carrying case is also not the best for travel and storage. It is a pouch made of cloth that works like a strapless briefcase. It might protect the headset against small bumps and scrapes but it won’t fare well against dust, water, or accidental drops. Therefore, I recommend you don’t take this headset on long outdoor adventures.
This (somewhat) high-end gaming headset has decent Bluetooth 5.0 and can connect to two devices simultaneously. (One connection through Bluetooth and the other via the USB Dongle.) It may not incorporate ultra-low latency audio for desktops and consoles but it is considerably lag-free on Android and iOS.
One of the key features of this gaming headset is its battery life. It can run continuously for up to 18 hours on a single charge. The device will fully recharge in 2.6 hours using USB Type-C. It also includes a 1/8″ TRRRS port so you can plug it in to use the wired option for the headphones. (While charging or when the battery is dead.)
The flexible omnidirectional microphone has very good performance. It does an amazing job of isolating your voice from the background noise and records voices with near-perfect accuracy. Also, if you prefer to use them as “white gaming headphones” only, you can easily kick back after detaching the mic.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the audio quality though. The bass is not as powerful as you may have expected and lacks those big thumps and rumbles. And even though the mids are pretty decent and accurate for the vocals and lead instruments, the treble is not the most accurate. (At high frequencies, it tends to get messy.)
For an immersive gaming experience, the Dolby Surround Sound feature needs to be enabled in your computer’s sound settings. Along with that, you need Corsair iCUE and Dolby Access App for Atmos to work.

With an entire day’s worth of battery and 7.1 THX surround sound, you know you’re clocked in for multiple long gaming sessions on almost any gaming platform, whether it’s PC gaming or console.

The Razer Blackshark V2 Pro white gaming headset has a sleek and premium design with its oval-shaped ear cups, adjustable headband, and flexible removable microphone.
The entire device is primarily made of plastic with the parts for the swivel mechanism being made out of metal. These metal parts are not as strong as some of the other headsets. Also, the cables running from the earcups to the headband do not have any plastic or metal enclosures for support. So I recommend being more careful with this gaming headset. (especially around pranksters who think it’s funny to cut off headphone cables)
The controls are set up on the left ear cup and are easy to use. You have a power button, mic mute button, and a knob for controlling the volume. However, it doesn’t include buttons for skipping tracks or answering calls.
When it comes to portability, the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is not the most ideal. It’s bulky and difficult to carry around, especially if you’re traveling. The package includes a pouch — which is not amazing in any way — that has a thin lining that is not going to do much to protect the headset against water damage or accidental drops.
These white gaming headsets are only meant to be used for PC/console gaming, so you might want to consider a separate pair of headphones for working out.
Since this is a non-Bluetooth wireless gaming headset, you won’t be able to connect it to your phone or laptop. (unless you set it up as wired headphones using the 3.5mm aux cord.)
The headset cannot connect to two devices simultaneously because it will only connect to the included USB transmitter. Fortunately, having a dedicated transmitter means that you can use the device at a maximum range of over 200ft with a minimal latency of approximately 70ms. This isn’t the best for competitive gaming, but it will hold up for casual online playthroughs.
I wouldn’t go so far as to describe the headset as having “excellent” audio quality anytime though. The overall sound quality on this white gaming headset is only “somewhat acceptable”. It reproduces an accurate bass but tends to provide an extra kick.
The mids are more neutral and give out very clear vocals and the treble is also okay but can get a little overemphasized in the middle.
Noise isolation is one aspect where this gaming headset tends to fall short. It is not the best at eliminating background noise and you will not be able to block out fans or voices as much. The recording quality of the microphone is acceptable. It captures all the directional sound clearly without any distortion and the people on the other end will be able to understand you, but unlike regular gaming mics, your voice will sound a bit distorted and unnatural.
If you want to keep a dedicated wired headset strictly for your gaming setup, the ASUS ROG Delta is a headset that could be the one for you. It doesn’t have any Bluetooth functionality and nor does it include a 3.5mm headphone jack. But instead, it relies on a USB Type-C connector: the wired option of the future.

The ROG Delta White Gaming Headset has a very sleek and sturdy design. Instead of having rounded-off earcups, this headset goes for a d-shaped style ear cup. The sharp edge-like design is very much the gamer aesthetic and you won’t have any problem presenting yourself as a hardcore gamer. Also, the thin RGB rings on the earcups provide extra flair and customization to the table.
The wired headphone may look smooth and fragile because of the full plastic-like material. Nonetheless, this device is sturdier than it looks and wouldn’t buckle down just because of a few bumps and scrapes.
The swivel mechanism, holding the ear cups and headband together, is pretty solid and isn’t quite as vulnerable as other headsets. The earcups can be laid flat but they cannot be folded and there is no carrying case or pouch included in the box. Therefore, you will have to buy one separately.
The controls are pretty much straightforward. So like many wired headsets, there is a button to toggle the RGB lights and a volume control knob to adjust volume and mute/unmute the mic.
Speaking of which, the microphone is a unidirectional boom mic that records your speech quite accurately. It also has a small red LED indicator that lights up whenever you mute the microphone. On top of that, if you want to listen to some music without the microphone getting in your way, you have the freedom to detach the microphone.
If you already know about the difference between a 3.5mm jack and USB headsets then you are already familiar with the superb sound quality produced by USB headsets. The ROG Delta White is one such USB headset that uses a USB Type-C connector (along with an included Type-C to Type-A adapter) to deliver high-quality noise-free audio. Therefore, for an interference-free crisp, and clean PC gaming experience, USB is always the go-to option.
All things considered: this is one of the best white gaming headsets for gamers who want to relax or play some competitive CS:GO with their friends. It isn’t the most high-end alternative out there, but it will do as an entry-level gaming headset for someone who doesn’t mind spending a few extra dollars.

The Corsair VOID Elite is one of the cheaper headsets that offer the best bang for your buck. Apart from its impressive hardware, the next awesome thing is the support software provided by Corsair, Corsair iCUE.
The app provides access to multiple presets, a graphic equalizer, microphone sidetone adjustment, RGB customization, and controls to toggle the surround sound. It’s a great piece of software with lots of features for a gaming headset sold at an affordable price. (relative to other best white gaming headsets, of course.)
At a glance, anybody will be able to tell that this is a gaming headset, the earcups are laid back and gives off a more high-tech vibe with their glossy finish and D-shaped ear cups. The swivel mechanism, holding the earcups and the headband together has a very unique design as it connects from the back of the earcup instead of connecting from either side. (like an upside-down 7 instead of the familiar upside-down Y.)
The microphone quality is quite decent, despite having a flimsy build quality. The recorded audio is clear and natural with slight bits of distortion. (which isn’t very noticeable.) The microphone cannot be detached, and you’ll always be the “headset guy” instead of being able to transform into headphones.
The background noise isolation on this device is not up to standard. Hence, you will not be able to block out the high-speed PC fans or people’s voices.
So, background noise works both ways, so if background noise is coming in so easily, the sound generated from the drivers is also going to be leaking out. Therefore, I recommend keeping it down when you are around other people.
The audio quality on this gaming headset is not the best. It doesn’t stay very accurate to the source and the frequency response tends to be all over the place, especially at the bass. (Where the lower end does not have enough punch to it while the upper end shoots way over the required accuracy.)
If you just want to dip your toes in the white gaming headset market, without spending upwards of $200, you can splurge on the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 instead. It has a cool-looking design, comfortable fit, and acceptable levels of audio quality.

The Turtle Beach Steal 600 Gen 2 is a solid white gaming headset that, despite fancy bells and whistles, gets the job done. (When that job involves listening to footsteps and zombies.)
The headset is very bulky and the earcups do not swivel very easily. Folding them or detaching the mic is out of the question so you won’t have a great time taking this on a run.
The controls are more versatile than other gaming headsets. There is a “Mode” button to switch between four different audio presets, two control knobs (with notches) for the volume and microphone sidetone adjustment, and a power button that also enables the “Superman Hearing Feature.” (amplifies footsteps and other in-game sound effects.)
The volume and mic controls do not interface with the operating system. Therefore, you won’t be changing the software volume of your PC, only the volume of the headset hardware.
Speaking of which, the support software on this device is what’s holding it back. The software is very basic, and not even “equalizer presets only” basic, I’m talking “update software only basic.” Therefore, this is going to be a major decision you will have to take, especially if you spend most of your time on PC. (where customization and audio tuning are a major aspect.)
Surprisingly, the headset does a decent job in the audio department. The overall sound profile, despite having its ups and downs, are more neutral and accurate than most of the headsets on our list. Although noise isolation and sealing in audio are still abhorrent.
Sleek and lightweight design, customizable RGB, detachable microphone, fully-fledged support software, and great audio quality are just a few of the Logitech G733 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset’s notable features.

The Logitech G733 Lightspeed Wireless gaming headset is one of the best white gaming headsets you could ever purchase. It’s got a unique design with somewhat rectangular ear cups (don’t worry, they will sit comfortably) and an elastic headband with a rather unusual pattern. (at least it’s not drab or dull like most other elastic headbands.)
The headset features soft memory foam earpads lined with a fabric-like cover. The ear cups are quite larger than usual so this headset is a great option for big heads. Unfortunately, for small heads, this isn’t going to be the best fit.
The Logitech G733 is a premium headset with one of the best support software available for gamers right now: the Logitech G Hub. This software is compatible with both Windows and Mac and incorporates microphone control, an equalizer (with graphics and presets), button mapping, RGB customization and surround sound options. Making it one of the best headset support software for your gaming setup.
The controls are very simple and easy to use. There is a power button, microphone mute/unmute button (which can be remapped) along with an infinitely scrollable volume control knob. Also, there is an audio cue to let you know when you’ve reached max volume.
Despite being the best white gaming headset on our list, the device does have a significant flaw that may affect your gaming experience: the lack of a wired connectivity option for the audio. Instead, the device uses a USB dongle with non-Bluetooth wireless technology.
Even though the latency is lower than Bluetooth, it still cannot compare to the ultra-low latency of wired high-end gaming headsets. So if you are a competitive gamer, with lightning-fast reflexes, you will be at a slight disadvantage with this headset.
The overall sound profile is quite neutral and will provide near-excellent sound quality regardless of whether you are listening to music or footsteps.
However, the headset cannot promise to deliver the same sound quality consistently as the experience can vary depending on the fit and stability of the headset. (Factors such as long hair, loose fit, etc.. will bring about significant changes in the sound quality.)
Luckily, you can tweak the audio characteristics using the support software’s graphic equalizer and set up custom profiles to overcome this.
Apart from the white color variant (see also for pink gaming headsets here), if you have no clue what other specs are important for gaming and delivering amazing audio quality. This buying guide will help you understand what most of these specs mean.
Audio Channels: The number of channels a gaming headset has will tell you how many sounds it can produce at the same time. Audio channels are usually going to be either high-end surround sound or basic stereo. Therefore, if a video game has 7.1 audio, then you’ll need a headset that supports 7.1 audio for the best experience.
Fortunately, most gaming headsets on our list incorporate 7.1 surround sound (see also the best surround sound headphones). However, when setting up your headset, make sure to check the instructions as this needs to be enabled through the software.
Battery Life: Battery life is important because you don’t want your game session to be interrupted by a low battery warning. Most wireless headsets, especially the ones on this list, last around 20 hours. However, this could vary depending on the type of gaming headset and how much you use it.
Always go at least 15 hours of battery life because that’s how you can find out if the headset in question is a good white gaming headset.
Microphone: The microphone is another important aspect of a gaming headset that you should look out for. The best gaming headsets will have a noise-canceling microphone that eliminates any background noise. This is perfect for multiplayer games as it ensures your voice is always heard loud and clear.
Most headsets either have removable or retractable microphones. I recommend sticking to these because they won’t get in the way when you need to just listen to some music.
Connectivity Options: Not all gaming headsets are created equal. Some come with more connectivity options than others. For example, the Corsair Virtuoso RGB comes with both a 3.5mm, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C connection, (all three of these for audio) which is perfect if you want to use it on your PC and PS4.
Other headsets might only have one or two options and some might only have non-Bluetooth wireless, which has its own pros and cons. So take note of this before you commit.
Support Software: Almost all gaming headsets come with their own software that is needed to control the headset’s audio and microphone settings. Most software will only provide basic functionality to configure sound presets (using a graphical equalizer or existing presets) and adjust the microphone.
If you want the top support software, look for ones that offer RGB customization, button remapping, and virtual surround sound configuration. (on top of the basic features listed above.)
Controls: The placement and design of a gaming headset’s controls are also important. Fortunately, most headsets have all the buttons and control knobs to perform the basic functions of powering up and adjusting the volume. LED/audio indicators, tactile feedback, and overall accessibility of these controls are what’s going to matter in the long run.
